The Joan Bishop Lifetime Achievement Award |
The Joan Bishop Lifetime Achievement Award is given by the Oley Foundation to a person who has dedicated their
time, talent and passion to advancing the field of home nutrition support
therapy across the decades. This is the only award decided by the Oley Board of
Trustees and given to a person who has gone above and beyond in their years of
selfless dedication to working towards advancing the mission of the Oley
Foundation.
This award was first given in 2023 to Joan Bishop, Oley Foundation Executive Director Emeritus, and may be presented annually, typically at the Oley annual conference, by the Oley Board of Trustees.
Please consider nominating a consumer, caregiver or clinician for the 2025 Joan Bishop Lifetime Achievement Award.
Criteria for Award 1. Award nominees have been involved with home nutrition support therapy for over a decade. 2. Award nominees must be an Oley Foundation member. 3. Award nominees must have consistently demonstrated admirable activities which advocate for themselves or others receiving EN or PN. 4. Award winner or their representative should be able to attend the conference for the upcoming year in order to receive the award in person. (recommended, not required) 5. Award nominees should be able to briefly articulate their story at the conference at the award ceremony. (recommended, not required) 6. There is no cash prize associated with this award.
