Family Grateful for Oley Supply Exchange

Clifton Dodge, Sr.

After treatment for throat cancer left him unable to swallow in 2006, Clifton Dodge Sr. began feeding by tube. Most of the time he took homemade blenderized meals, but when he had medical issues, he would use traditional formula he received through Oley’s Equipment Supply Exchange Program.

His wife, Cathy, says, “Having the ability to use the formula that others no longer needed was a blessing. We received many cases of formula through this program. We have made others aware of the Foundation, too.”

Sadly, Clifton passed away last September. The family chose Oley as a recipient of memorials to honor Clifton, which resulted in a very generous donation.

Clifton was in the restaurant business for most of his career. He owned and operated two eateries in Salina, Kansas. His motto was, “There are no strangers here…only friends we haven’t met.” He will be missed.
