What Is the Oley Conference?

Designed to help patients on home tube and IV feeding (homePEN consumers) learn more about their therapy, Oley Conferences offer consumers, clinicians, and you an opportunity to learn and network with one another. 500+ people attended last year.

Formal, interactive sessions are complemented by dozens of small group discussions on topics ranging from coping skills to advances in disease treatments.

Why Should I Be There?

It’s the ONLY conference where you can:

  • promote your products/services directly to patients (end users)

  • get feedback from experienced patients, clinicians

  • return to work with new ideas and enthusiasm.

It pays to be a Partner!

  • complimentary exhibit and advertising space

  • advanced selection of exhibit location

  • enhanced recognition online and at the annual meeting

Wow! We’ve Grown 150%

We’ve had a serious surge in attendance the last two years—providing you access to hundreds of more attendees! To make sure you have plenty of time to interact with them, we’ve extended the exhibit hours. The cost of refreshments, entertainment, etc. also reflect this expansion. Your support makes all the difference!

What Times Should I Set Aside?

Exhibitors should plan to work/attend the following events:

  • Welcome/Awards Ceremony: June 23, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

  • Exhibit Setup: June 23, noon to 10:00 p.m., June 24, 7:00 am to 7:45 am

Exhibitor Guidelines

Below are important guidelines for all industry representatives, developed by members of industry to ensure that Oley gatherings are free from sales pressures and that company participation is kept on a level playing field:

1. Companies are to display and promote their products and services only in designated exhibit areas or as a pre-approved part of specific conference sponsorships. It is not appropriate to market your products or services during a focus group, educational session, or social event.

2. Companies are prohibited from planning, sponsoring, underwriting, or paying for any non-Oley activity that involves consumers—unless all consumers involved in the activity are currently receiving the company’s products and/or services—and it does not conflict with official Oley conference programs/events.

3. All companies are prohibited from:

  • Conducting sales transactions in the Exhibit Hall;

  • Dispensing cash payment to attendees for visiting their exhibits, or for any other purpose;

  • Including literature promoting products/services in Oley registration packets or on Oley literature tables without prior approval and payment;

  • Conducting recruitment interviews, or setting up “special services” for Oley attendees;

  • Contacting conference attendees on-site or after the conference unless the attendee has initiated it, or has given permission via a survey or raffle.

  • Conducting market research in any location other than a reserved exhibit booth or official Oley focus group.

Using images, testimonials, etc. from Oley staff, trustees, regional coordinator volunteers, or any of their family members, as part of the company exhibit or to promote company products or services.

4. Exhibiting companies may, with prior approval of the Foundation, have raffles at their booth. Drawings will be coordinated by Oley and held on June 25 in the Exhibit Hall at approximately 1:30 p.m. Details are available at www.oley.org.

5. All company staff and family members (≥13 y.o.) must have “exhibitor” clearly marked on their badge, attend the mandatory exhibitor meeting, and sign an agreement to abide by these exhibitor guidelines.

Companies that violate these guidelines create a difficult situation for consumers, and ultimately, it’s the Oley Foundation that suffers. We are grateful for your cooperation.
