WE JUST ASK FOR AN ESSAY (SEE NEXT ITEM), A RECOMMENDATION FROM A TEACHER, AND A MEDICAL RECORD. SHOULD WE REWORD SOME OF THIS?}

• an essay (written by the applicant) regarding how he or she has overcome obstacles or challenged posed by home parenteral and/or enteral nutrition (HPEN) and inspired others to live life to the fullest.

• The selection process will not be influenced or affected by the actual or perceived race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, age or sexual orientation of any applicant.

Who selects the recipients?
Applications are reviewed by a committee of past scholarship winners, Oley volunteers and staff, and Oley board members.
