You are encouraged to
join us for educational sessions and social events to learn more about the
end users of your products and services. Other opportunities to showcase
your company efforts include: underwriting activities, advertising in the
program, and making the conference more affordable for patients/families (see
application). Exhibitors will be highlighted in the conference program;
sponsors of activities will be showcased in the program, in Oley’s bimonthly
newsletter, on the Web, and with promotion on-site.

Application, company description and logo should be mailed with your check

for inclusion in the Conference Program. Applications received
later than this date will be accommodated as possible. Registrants are
responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Below are important
guidelines for all industry representatives, developed by members of
industry to ensure that Oley gatherings are free from sales pressures and
that company participation is kept on a level playing field:
Companies are to display and promote their products and services
in designated exhibit areas or as a pre-approved part of
specific conference sponsorships.
It is not appropriate to market your
products or services during a focus group, educational session, or social
are prohibited from planning, sponsoring, underwriting, or paying for any
non-Oley activity that involves consumers—unless all consumers
involved in the activity are currently receiving the company’s products
and/or services—and it does not conflict with official Oley conference

Exhibiting companies may, with prior approval of the Foundation, have

5. All company staff
and family members (≥13
y.o.) must have “exhibitor” clearly marked on
their badge, attend the mandatory exhibitor meeting, and sign an agreement
to abide by these exhibitor guidelines.
Companies that violate
these guidelines create a difficult situation for consumers, and ultimately,
it’s the Oley Foundation that suffers.

Oley Conference Program Advertising
The Oley Foundation’s
29th Annual Consumer/Clinician Conference program will be distributed to
approximately 500 home nutrition support patients, home care providers, and
health care professionals attending the conference in Orlando, Florida, and
countless visitors at www.oley.org.

The Oley Foundation
reserves the right to evaluate all statements and images in
advertisements, and to reject any advertisement that in the sole
judgment of its editorial advisors does not to conform to the Oley
Foundation’s policies or mission. The Oley Foundation retains full
editorial control over all advertisements that appear in its Conference
Program. You will be notified if the Oley Foundation advisors find the
copy and/or images unacceptable for publication in the Conference
Advertisements that mention or criticize a competing company or a
competing company’s products are unacceptable.
Advertisements cannot contain photographs of, or testimonials from, Oley
trustees, staff, regional coordinators or their family members.
Advertisements should not contain statements that are misleading,
exaggerated, subject to misinterpretation, or contrary to
accepted, scientific findings.
Statements of properties, performance or beneficial results of products
should be such that they can be verified by adequate data published in
Support documentation verifying claims must be submitted to the editor
upon request before an advertisement will be accepted for publication.
The Oley Foundation retains control over positioning of all
advertisements in the Conference Program.
The Oley Foundation will not accept, or refund payment for,
cancellations made after the deadline date.

Oley Conference Booth Raffle – Attract Traffic to Your Booth!
The Oley booth raffle works like this:
1. You supply and display the item, something to put names on (it can be a raffle ticket, or slips of paper) and a collection bowl at your booth.
2. You collect the names of people in the bowl when they visit your booth.
3. Towards the end of the second exhibit day, (at around 2:00 p.m. on, July 1) Oley staff will announce the drawing time. You will bring your item, and bowl with collected names to the podium (along with other participating companies.)
4. An Oley volunteer will draw the winning ticket from your bowl, and you present the prize to the winner. If you want your bowl of collected names back, you should take it at this time. Then it is the next company's turn.
5. Additional tips:
You may raffle off more than one item if you wish.
Popular past raffle items: iPod, iPad, GPS, jewelry, toys, gift cards.
Medical supplies, company products, and related items are not appropriate raffle items.
