2003 Conference Better Than Par!
A great time was had by all at the 18th Annual Oley Consumer/Clinician Conference, June 18-21, 2003, at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort, in St. Augustine, Florida. Turnout was terrific, and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous setting, gracious hotel staff, knowledgeable faculty and generous volunteers.
Participants learned the latest news about improving absorption, preventing catheter infections and a host of other topics from experienced clinicians from around the country. They also shared parenting tips, coping strategies and advice on living more fully.
As if this weren’t enough, the conference was packed with fun social events. A huge thanks to our sponsors and volunteers for making these events possible which offer a special time for consumers and families to relax together. The adults enjoyed golf, the auction, the welcome reception and the meals; and the kids had a great time bowling, touring the Ripley’s museum, viewing IMAX movies and playing at Jammin’ Jammies.
We’d like to thank everyone who came. It was a pleasure to meet the numerous first-time attendees — especially some consumers we’ve been corresponding with for years! — and of course to greet our old friends. We had a wonderful time and hope you will join us again next summer.
